Policies and Procedures

Thank you for choosing Arizona Tree Trimming & Removal.

Please review the below policies and procedures so we can best serve you.

BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED VISIT:

• Make sure there is easy access for our crew to get to the part of your yard that needs to be serviced including unlocking gates, moving items that may be blocking access, etc. and be sure to provide any gate codes, etc.*
*If the crew cannot access your yard, you will be charged an $85 fee and you may lose your appointment spot that day as the crew will have to move on to the next job.

• Please remove all landscaping lights under or around the trees that could interfere with your service. We are not responsible for lost or broken landscape lighting. If your lights are left in the yard we will assume they are not in working order or you don’t care if they are lost or damaged.

• please move any patio furniture, decorative pots, or any other items under or around your trees that could interfere with service. We are not responsible for broken patio furniture.
Again we take care of our clients’ yards but we are not responsible for landscaping lights or personal property that is broken or damaged as A RESULT of ignoring these recommendations.

DATE OF SERVICE:

On the day of your service, we will contact you when we are on our way to your property via phone call or text.

Please DO NOT call us to check on your appointment time. We promise to contact you when we are on our way to your property so please DO NOT call us unless you have an emergency because it slows our crew down to answer the phone on the job site.

The reason we don’t give estimated appointment times is that we want our crew to be able to focus on each clients’ needs without racing against the clock, so we avoid timed appointments to best serve you.
Please note that you do not need to be home in order for us to work on your property, all we need is access to the property to complete our service.

STUMP GRINDING SERVICE:

Stump grinding is not automatically included in your removal service, it is an add-on service that requires special equipment. Please make sure to clearly mark any irrigation lines, plumbing, etc. that may be close to your tree. We will not be responsible for any damage that occurs during a stump grinding service.

Please note that stump grinding is NOT a root removal service. Stump grinding is as it states a stump removal service where we grind down the base of the tree also known as the stump where all the roots attach to the tree. We do have a service that we can remove roots in your yard and are happy to get you a quote for it but stump grinding alone does NOT cover full removal of roots.

We will grind tree stumps 6” inches below grade but please note, it is not recommended to plant a new tree over the top of a recently removed stump.

Simply plant the new tree adjacent to the stump, but keep the new planting hole at least three feet away from the stump to allow your new tree ample growing/rooting space (i.e., new trees need adequate mineral soil with good fertility and drainage for proper rooting and water/nutrient uptake).
